Somethings take forever. It feels like eternity and it stretches on and on even though its only been a year. But here's to hoping that since it has been so long the fruit will be the best. Patience is key. 

March 14th has a special place in my heart. So today I celebrated. Bibibop is an excellent place for lunch and High School Musical: Get Your Head in the Game is an excellent board game to play with friends. Also I love giraffe balloons, lipstick, pushpins, and cow pillows (in case you were wondering)

The night on Lake Logan Road. The night we talked and laughed and just enjoyed the friends that we have all become. The night that we played tag on hay bales. The night that we wanted to never end. 

Today I wore bobby pins in my hair for the first time in forever. Normally I have these little 'blonde' bobby pins that blend into my hair but since I can't seem to keep track of them I had to dip into my "emergency bobby pin stash". 

These "emergency bobby pins" were from the dollar store; very stiff and coated in shiny black paint. I ended up taking them out half way through the day cause they hurt so badly. 

Turns out they have a good use though...they work wonders with India Ink. 

Its ironic because the wood is actually Oak. And while we are being honest its actually a flooring sample from Home Depot, and I'm 99% sure its not real wood. 

People love Pinterest and DIY. I feel like its taking over. One trend that I've seen hundreds of thousands of times is the classic paint chip note. And yes I have done it, but I really dislike it. 

Today I just wanted to be ironic.

Monday. Dreary. Cold. Papers. Tests. Projects. 
Senior year of college is stressful and there are way to many decisions to be made. At times its overwhelming; today is one of those days. 

I'm choosing to smile. Do I feel like smiling? No. Do I need to smile? Yes. 

Since Grammar School this has been my signature smiley face to doodle. Big grin and big eyes. Familiar and happy. Recently I've been exploring hand lettering; so lets throw some one here too.
